Rob Thurston is the owner of Falmouth Marine Solutions, Falmouth Powerboat School and Falmouth School of Sailing, a long-established friendly family run group of businesses offering high quality leisure and professional services in sailing, powerboating, offshore safety and boat chartering.
Rob has been in and around boats for over 30 years, starting at a young age in dinghy sailing where he took up competitive racing, and has been teaching and coaching sailing since 1990s. He has sailed and driven many different types of boats, both large and small, around the world.
Rob is experienced in managing a variety of national and international projects from small local events to large international regattas. Rob is also an active volunteer for the RNLI Respect the Water Team promoting and giving sea safety advice to people who use the sea.
